OUR STAFF

Children learn best when they feel safe, happy and are having fun!

Our staff provide the perfect environment, with carefully planned activities and encouragement to help them develop to their full potential.

All our staff are up to date with First Aid, Safeguarding and Prevent Training. They also attend regular Continuous Professional Development courses in different areas such as Makaton taster sessions, Working with 2 year olds, Mark Making, Speech and Language and more.

Our SENCO( special educational needs and/or disabilities coordinator) works closely with The local inclusion development officer, to ensure that our provision provides children with SEND the support they need.

Maria - Manager

"Hello I’m Maria. I have been working at MHPS since 2005 and have enjoyed watching our small children grow into teenagers over the years. I live in Much Hadham with my husband, 4 children, and our dog. I enjoy spending time with family & friends”​

Jayne - Deputy Manager
  • NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Care and Education.

“Hi, my name is Jayne, I’ve worked at pre-school since 2001, the children are at a lovely age when they start at pre-school and I enjoy getting them school ready’. I live in Little Hadham and have 3 children and 2 dogs. I like to garden, cook, and am a keen supporter of Welsh Rugby.”

At the weekends I support my children watching their sporting events and enjoy spending time with friends and family.”

  “Hi. I’m Ali. I’ve worked at the Pre-school since 2010. I am a mum of 3 girls, all of who attended our setting. I used to be a professional actor and I enjoy going to the gym and walking my nutty Hungarian Vizla.”

“Hello. I’m Marie and I started in January 2021 after over 8 years working at Amwell View School and Specialist Sports College. Two of my three children attended our pre-school. I enjoy walking and spending time with my family and friends.”

“Hi, I’m Jo. I have worked in the Foundation Stage at Primary schools prior to having my own children, as both a Nursery and Reception Teacher. I have been working at Pre-school since September 2017. I have three children. In my spare time, I like to bake cakes – although not always with great success.”

Charlotte - Early Years Key Person

“Hi! I’m Charlotte and I’m a triplet and have always lived in Much Hadham. I attended pre-school as well as St Andrew’s school. I enjoy going for walks around the village with my dogs. I also have Runner Ducks, Chickens, Fish, Cockatiel, Budgies, Cats, and a Tarantula. I started in June 2019 and really enjoy working at Pre-school.”

“Hi there! My name is Alison, I’m married with two children, and have lived in Widford since 1997. I was Deputy at the Pre school 20 years ago, and was invited back to fill the role as Pre School administrator. I like to garden and am currently learning how to train my Old English Sheepdog."
